Collins & Sons Excavating is currently seeking a motivated Laborer to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our continued success with a company that values integrity and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Assist equipment operators and other skilled labor as needed.
- Lay pipe accurately and efficiently.
- Perform all phases of construction including loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of construction materials and equipment.
- Prepare construction sites by removing obstacles and hazards.
- Hand dig using shovels and mechanical tools.
- Remove, fill, or compact earth as necessary.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and site leads.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow with on-the-job training.
- Perform general site clean-up duties.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical labor and other strenuous tasks.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
- Punctual, reliable, and dependable.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Full-time, hourly position
