R-2 Contractors is looking for a full-time HR Generalist to join our growing team! The perfect candidate would be someone with HR experience, someone who takes challenges head-on and is a self-starter.  

The list of primary responsibilities includes, but is not limited to the following:
  • Administer compensation and benefit plans.
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Liaison with union dispatchers and business representatives.
  • Dispatch requests.
  • Coordination of specific requirements that vary from union to union.
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Undertake tasks around performance management.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
  • Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
  • Office Administration tasks as needed.

Requirements:
  • Punctual and self-starter 
  • Time management; prioritizing work and documenting tasks 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Highly flexible in daily duties and level of responsibility 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Work in a team environment 
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol and background check requirements
