Position Available: Shop/Service Manager

R-2 Contractors is currently seeking a motivated Shop/Service Supervisor to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our continued success with a company that values integrity and professionalism.

What you will do as Shop Manager:

· Oversee intake, check-in, and organization of all parts, consumables, and job site supplies

· Manage inventory of parts, consumables, and supplies

· Stage parts and supplies for field techs as requested, and deliver parts as needed

· Prepare and deliver supplies and equipment to job sites

· Handle washing, checking, and repairing all equipment, including small gas motor. Collaborate with Field Equipment Manager to schedule repairs and report to Fleet Admin and Field Equipment Manager

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, supply areas and parts areas

· Assist with loading and unloading of trucks and trailers, and support Logistics as needed

· Support Operations and address any facility issues

· Manage yard positions, providing weekly task lists and schedules

· Assist the Field Equipment Manager with scheduling field techs during absences

Qualifications of the Shop/Service Supervisor:

· The ideal candidate will be accountable, a self-starter, proactive, and maintain clear communication regarding their needs

· CDL-A Truck Driver Certification Preferred

· Mechanical Experience Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
